About us

The Collaborative Family Law group is made up of leading lawyers – senior solicitors, Leading Counsel and – uniquely – retired High Court Judges. All are members of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a worldwide network of leading specialists in divorce and family law.

All of us are trained as collaborative lawyers. Some are trained also as mediators, and also specialise in Lawyer Assisted Mediation. Some members of the group conduct Private Hearings.

Elizabeth Hicks

Elizabeth is passionate about collaborative law. She is Head of the London Family Law Team at Irwin Mitchell, chairs Resolution’s Skills and Support Committee and is heavily involved in Parenting after Parting. Elizabeth has considerable experience in multi-jurisdictional disputes.

John Nicholson

John is a specialist in the financial aspects of marriage and relationship breakdown, although he also works frequently with parents who are having difficulty in dealing with contact issues in relation to their children.

David Leadercramer

David has specialised in Family Law for over thirty years and is a leading authority on pre-nuptial agreements

Richard Anelay QC

Practice is ancillary relief, international child abduction, public and private law children.

Trained mediator and collaborative lawyer. Early neutral evaluator.

Caitlin Jenkins

Caitlin is a collaborative lawyer and family mediator who is also trained in advanced mediation which involves lawyers in the process.
